On 20 April 2009, the Ministry of Justice of the PRC held a ceremony in the Great Hall of the People to issue appointee certificates to the new 9th group of China Appointed Attesting Officers and the honorary lawyers of the 6th though 8th groups of China Appointed Attesting Officers who were successfully reappointed. The ceremony was attended by numbers of leaders, including Mr. Zhao Dacheng, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Justice PRC, Mr. Zhang Xiaoming, Vice Minister of Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office State Council, Mr. Du Guoxing, director of the Department of Guidance of the Work of Lawyers and Public Notories of the Ministry of Justice PRC and Mr. Yu Ning, President of All China Lawyers Association. Our senior partner Mr. Li Weibin (6th group of China Appointed Attesting Officers), partner Mr. Terence Chiu (8th group of China Appointed Attesting Officers) and solicitor Mr. Terence Chan (9th group of China Appointed Attesting Officers) attended the ceremony.
