One of Hong Kong’s favourite collective reminisces, the Victoria Harbour Cross-Harbour Race was revived after it was last held 33 years ago. On 16 October 2011, about 1,000 swimmers athletes participated in this big race. The starting point of this 1.8 km race was the Sam Ka Tsuen public pier in Lei Yue Mun in east Kowloon and it finished at the Quarry Bay Park public pier.
During the qualifying round, our firm’s senior partner Mr. Robin Li out-swam many competitors and successfully qualified for the cross-harbour race. On the race day itself, Mr. Li swam across the harbour briskly and finished the race comfortably. Coincidentally, the race day was also Mr. Li’s 25th anniversary since arriving in Hong Kong.
