Oceanwide Holdings International Co., Ltd (“Oceanwide International”), an indirect wholly owned subsidiary of Oceanwide Holdings Co., Ltd. (a company whose shares are listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Stock code: 000046), has successfully acquired approximately 71.36% equity interest in Hutchison Harbour Ring Limited (stock code: 715), a company whose shares are listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited for a total consideration of approximately HK$3.82 billion (“the Acquisition”), and has made and completed the unconditional mandatory cash offers in accordance with the Hong Kong Codes on Takeovers and Mergers (“the Offer”).

Hutchison Harbour Ring Limited is principally engaged in property investment in the PRC.

We acted as the legal advisers to Oceanwide International with respect to Hong Kong laws in the Acquisition and the Offer and in respect of the financing for the acquisition.
