Mr. Stephen Hung was invited by the RTHK to express his views on the radio podcast programme “Letter to Hong Kong”. The discussion topic is to set the minimum legal requirements to protect the abused. As a member of the sub-committee on Causing or Allowing the Death of a Child or Vulnerable Adult, Mr. Stephen Hung expressed his opinions on dealing with criminal cases in which the adults caring child or vulnerable adult inflicted fatal injuries. Also, he mentioned about the content of new offences in the recently published consultation paper.

Mr. Stephen Hung is the partner of our firm. He was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2005 and became a member of the Council of the Law Society of Hong Kong (the Law Society) since 2003. Mr. Hung was elected Vice-President in May 2012, President in August 2014, and was re-elected President in May 2015. In his own capacity, Mr. Hung serves on the Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority, the Law Reform Committee, Sub-committee on Causing or Allowing the Death of a Child, the Communications Authority, the Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme Vetting Committee, the Lump Sum Grant Steering Committee and the Financial Reporting Council.
