In August 2023, Li & Partners was invited to participate in the 2023 “Elite Blossom” Hong Kong Study Tour Camp organised by China Guangfa Bank (Hong Kong). Our firm’s Banking Partner Mr. David Yang, Head of Business Development, Mr. Jasper Fung, Solicitor, Ms. Hilda Fung, , and Trainee Solicitor, Ms. Sachi Tao, , were invited to attend and share their views.
On 1st August, Mr. Yang shared his experience of practicing law in Hong Kong and the career path of Hong Kong lawyers with the students of the Study Tour Camp. He engaged in meaningful interactions with the students, offering insights and advice. Mr. Yang also sent a message to the students, encouraging them to strive for their dreams through dedicated learning. He welcomes students from the Greater Bay Area who are interested in legal work to communicate with him and would like to be one of the channels for them to understand the work and life of lawyers in Hong Kong.
On 4th August, led by Mr. Yang, the professional team of Li & Partners conducted a special sharing session on topics including corporate mergers and acquisitions, family trusts, property transactions, and stamp duty. They have provided detailed insights into the key procedures, potential legal risks and strategies for maximizing transaction benefits involved in merger and acquisition transactions. Furthermore, they emphasized the significance of family trusts in the context of family business succession and wealth management. The team engaged in in-depth discussions with the attendees, parents, and guests, receiving unanimous praise from the participants. Ms. Vanessa Zheng from Li & Partners was responsible for the preparation, planning, and coordination of this event.
